I had a fantastic time at Otakon last weekend, thanks to all of you who stopped by to chat or buy a print!
There were times when things got pretty hectic, but overall the experience was fantastic! And I got to fill up on plenty of yummy Baltimore food (mm.... I think there were definitely crabcakes just about every day!! and also sushi.)I also got to see the art auction this year, for the first time, and it was super-exciting! I love how everyone (even the bystanders) just get so excited when caught up in the bidding. Some bidders reeeeaaally know what they want, and some bidders have to think about it for a while or flip a coin. And the last piece of artwork in the auction, "Shadow of the Collosus" which was absolutely suberb and by a very talented artist, had everyone clapping in delight every time it went up, stopping at eventually $1000! O___O Hoooly!
After the convention I chilled with goomybear in Baltimore and we took a dragon boat on the pier as well as browsed some shops and had a great sushi dinner. Too bad the next morning we had to get up at 3:00am to catch our flight back to San Francisco.... Also, I ended up catching a cold which only now am I starting to recover from. =/ But.... I'd say it was worth it. ^_^ I'll post some new artwork up this weeekend, stay tuned!

We did have a good time around Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate, but it would've been more fun to have you there too. Ah well, I'm sure the chance will come up again.
