Wow! O___O! I'm so surprised and happy to have won the Multi-Monitor-Mayhem contest
[link] Thanks so much to everyone, and ^
zilla774 for organizing the event! There are some really astounding submissions, and I encourage everyone to check them out!

Whee, subscribed until 2009, goodness, that seems so far away! O_O
In other news, Bush is at Stanford today in a closed meeting. Word of this got out to the students yesterday, so of course there are all manners of protest rallies going on right now. The amount of police, army people, and secret service is pretty astounding. They even barricaded a good part of the university, making life difficult for traffic and all the visiting seniors here (it's prospective freshman weekend!) Speaking of, they're all so cute, with their name tags and little red folders. >D >D
Finally, I got tagged by ~
alaethryn. Here goes!
Six weird habits about me:
1. I do a "skirt dance" on days when I wear a skirt. This is usually a 10-second improvised dance in the privacy of my room.
2. I love my stuffed animals and give them names and personalities and tell stories about them. My latest friend is Moules, an FAO Schwartz dog purchased in New York with the softest fur. I'm really tempted to buy the 66 inch Moules.... really, really tempted...
3. I love gummi bears. I have 4 posters of gummi bears in my room right now, and I've sampled many brands and varieties of them. My favorite is probably Harmony brand. Haribo is the absolute worst. (I love cola gummi too!)
4. My boyfriend and I create fake holidays and celebrate them annually. For example, today is "Best Friday" and Sunday is "Cheeaster" where we purchase a lot of gourmet cheeses and wine and make tasty appetizers and then watch a foreign film. Other holidays which we celebrate are Pizza Day in June, Pasta day in July, Januween in Early January, and Jalentine's Day in early February, each with their own traditions. (But yes, we also celebrate the "traditional" holidays.
5. I have a hand-made Truffula Tree (from Dr. Seuss' "The Lorax") sitting on my desk right now. I lovelovelove "The Lorax."
6. I like learning about operating system concepts in computer science even though I absolutely hate programming them.
Okay, and I tag.... all of you guys who read this. >D >D Har Har Har!!

May the chickens guide you east, the penguins south, nd the ducks as far as they can fucking fly.
Hmm... I don't know why they'd even CARE that much to protect Bush...?
