Listening to: James Blunt - "You're Beautiful"
Reading: The Da Vinci Code
Sorry for my absence on DeviantArt here in the last two weeks... With the start of the new school quarter (and my last quarter as an undergrad!), things have gotten busy and I'm rushing around to try to find enough time to do everything that needs to be done. And strangely enough, I find that I like it. I think last quarter was a bit too relaxed in terms of work load, which left me with a lot of time to draw and art and ruminate on the mysteries of the world. Which is all fine and great, but it doesn't make me feel productive and I get antsy with myself when I'm not productive. How paradoxical, isn't it, when I don't have enough time I always wish I had more to work on art and reading and surfing the Internet, but when I do have that time, it feels like I'm wasting it.
Anyway, I'm taking some really great classes this quarter and I'm excited to really push and challenge myself both professionally and personally. I'm also thinking about working part-time at a software company that I very much like and use a lot... ^^ Plus I want to spend more time strengthening ties with friends before we're all scattered to the four winds for med school, grad school, etc. I think I'll really miss Stanford when it's all over and done with... which is also strange because most of the time we're just waiting for school to finish so we can get on with our lives.
So.... what all that translates to is that I'll be spending less time on DA, at least in the near future. I still have some half-finished stuff which I'll upload soon, but I guess that art drive from the past two months has left me. Which is all well and good because. You know. Change is good.
In other news, I went camping last weekend with a group of 17 people, in a 1100+ mile trip from Friday to Sunday. We hit Nevada and Oregon, and saw desert and snow and lakes and forests. I'm not a very outdoorsy person and it was raining (or snowing) and freezing for most of the trip, but I had a fantastic time all the same. Anyone else been to Gurloch, Nevada? >D Let me tell you... it really is in the middle of nowhere. XD XD
All right,

to you all! Feel free to share what's going on in your side of the world!

You're almost done school! yay! I think that means you're the same age as me. I don't graduate this semester though, since I went on an internship, so I have to go back for my last school year in September.. I'm dreading it, since I've gotten used to not doing homework and slacking off lots.
I'm also scared because all my friends who were in the same class as me have all gone ahead and either graduated, or about to. I'm gonna be very alone there. :/
Well, I gota boyfriend, only thing new with me, and oh, I'm obessed to a VERY hard game called Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg. It seems like a kids game, but its very hard to mast and even get past Circus Park (Level 5)!!
