Been wanting to draw some sort of angel again, and decided to go on the motif of a "Fallen Angel." Somehow, this phrase "even angels lose their wings" kept running through my head as I was working on this. I have No Idea where that came from. O_O

Done in Photoshop and Painter. This is the picture converted into a wallpaper. : ) I promise I'll post more "happy pictures" soon~ This morbid streak has just about run its course....

oo wow! great pic. the emotion in it is just..... astounding, I really like it. The coloring looks great. its lovely how well the title fits this picture, the blood and wound seem like pain from hell and the feathers and the glowing warm colors seem like from heaven. something like that. I think its really great how you done it. I admire your artistic level. *bows for your artistry!* :bow: ^^:

Another breathtaking pece of artwork from you, Joulee. You are indedd good at choosing the right colour to establish the mood and atmosphere of your artwork. Even though the theme 'Fallen angel' has become a rather cliche one, I must admit that you have taken different approach in this :D. The broken wings, the blood and how she scratches the wall surely convey the pain and the emotion that the angel feels. And also the way you do the lighting fits the title 'between heaven and hell'. I kinda have this feeling that bright and shining light at the left side [to the viewers] represents the heaven while the darkness in the right represent hell. Moreover, I really love the way that you do not show the face of the angel (kind of creating condemning tone to overall picture). You deserve a :worship: for putting so much thought and effor in this picture.

That is inceredibly beautiful, albeit . . . a little creepy . . . once again, your abilities to apply appropriate lighting and work with colours is amazing!
