If a flower blooms in the forest and nobody is there to see it, are not the possibilities endless...?
Started scribbling one day in Painter and had an urge to draw hair, lots and lots of hair, shiny flaming red hair, straight and enough of it to cover a large portion of the picture. I actually started a picture similar to this a long time ago, with a red-haired girl and a green/yellow color scheme and had an idea to do a hair tutorial out of it. Unfortunately halfway through I lost interest in the picture and it has been sitting in my harddrive ever since, never to see the light of day. So along came this picture to sweep away all the things I liked about the old picture and apply it to something different. My anatomy needs work. Serious. >_O EDIT: gave her a new dress... thanks for the tips, guys! |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. Yes, the anatomy is a bit, shall we say, constricted.
But she is a pretty one for sure. The colors are lovely as her greens and orange stream around the yellow of the flower.
